Codes and conventions of a newspaper advertisement

• The shape is an A4 landscape which is a versatile shape which can be scaled to fit many different sizes and can also be used as a billboard.
• There is one main image
• The image should be striking and sum up the program
• The text on the advert should include: the title, slogan and scheduling
• The advert should also include the TV company logo

Here are some examples of TV adverts. I have chosen adverts for documentaries appearing on Channel 4 as that is where we have planned our documentary to be aired.
