As a group of three we were assigned the task of planning, filming and editing our own documentaries about mobile phones.
We were given certain questions which had to be asked during the interview which we used to plan what cut-away's we were going to use. We then made a story board that documented what each cut-away would contain and how long each clip was going to last.
We chose to film our interview in the ice radio recording studio as the mise-en-scene of technology linked to the topic of the documentary. Moreover, the ice radio recording studio did not contain any large window's meaning that filming with a back light would not be a problem.
All of the cut-aways were filmed around school in places such as the common room and break out areas.
